My sister is an excellent pianist (in my humble opinion). My whole family loves to hear her play and keeps the small upright piano in an easily accessible place so the music fills our home. 2_body_intro.html Bursitis is a chronic irritation or inflammation of the bursa, fluid filled sacks which cushion the movement between bones, tendons and muscles near the joints. There are actually 150 bursa in the body; each one contains a small amount of synovial fluid which is a clear liquid that works as a lubricant. The most common place for bursitis is the shoulders and yet it is also seen in the elbows, hips, knees, heels and toes. While it does not cause deformities (like arthritis may) it does create dehabilitating pain and hinders movement in the affected area.

Flies can be a real problem for people who have horses. Stable flies, horseflies, deerflies, horn flies and face flies are all blood-sucking flies that can cause a lot of damage to a horse's health and well-being. Stable flies are the most common. They don't look much different than ordinary house flies but instead of feeding on trash the feed on a horse's lower legs, flanks, belly, under the jaw, and the junction of the neck and chest. Now is a great time to begin preventative measures to protect your horse before warmer weather and the possibility of a fly infestation.
